Plettenberg Bay is a special place for Jo and Simon. Simon’s parents have a holiday house there and he has spent many summers kicking back and soaking up the East Coast sun. Plett also became a place that both Jo and Simon would visit together when they started dating. Fast forward eight years and Simon popped ‘the question’ to Jo at Emily Moon (the most GORGEOUS of places in Plettenberg Bay). How fitting it was for Jo and Simon to have their fabulous wedding at Emily Moon.. lucky for me I got to be there to photograph it all for them.
Simon is in the hotel industry and was ragged by his groomsmen for being ‘Groomzilla’ when it came to table linens and fine wine ;) I take my hat off to Jo and Simon for organizing such a fantastic wedding, their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I adored the personalized photo seating plan, scrabble piece place names, a mouth watering candy bar and truly beautiful flowers and decor that reflected their personalities so well.. elegant, earthy, classic and proudly South African!
I really can’t thank Jo and Simon enough for being so dam awesome and allowing me into their lives for their most special day! I had an absolute blast photographing this super fab wedding and excuse the extra long post.. I just couldn’t narrow it down anymore there was just too much awesomeness to photograph!
Jo and Simon I hope you’ve had a fabulous honeymoon in Italy and I do hope these bring back lots of happy memories for you today!
