Adele and Kenne are fuss free people with such gentle and kind spirits.
I loved this couple from the moment I met them, when I photographed them for their engagement shoot (here) and theirs was a wedding I was really looking forward to being a part of.
I love it when love goes all international.. Emily is from the United States, Bruce is from South Africa and they met, fell in love and live in Hong Kong where Bruce is based as a pilot.
I was lucky enough to be at their beautiful wedding, held at Rockhaven Farm in the Elgin Valley. I had a very proud Capetonian moment when, during the speeches, it was pointed out that out of all the guests present, only about five of them were from Cape Town, everyone else had traveled far and wide to be there!
Valery and Art’s wedding day was an exquisitely beautiful affair. Friends and family traveled far and wide to be there to celebrate with them. Val and Art come from wonderfully warm and welcoming Russian families and these guys sure know how to throw a good party! When I was still studying Graphic Design some years ago and realized that it was photography that I wanted to peruse, I asked myself what I wanted to shoot. Portraits. Photographing people was what I wanted to do with all my heart. I am now a fulltime wedding and portrait photographer and while going through the images from this shoot I can’t help but feel so very grateful that I am doing my dream job!
Natasha is a friend of Valery & Art (see their engagement shoot here) and while she was visiting South Africa from the Ukraine for Valery and Art’s wedding (photos from that coming soon!), she wanted to have some sunny beach portraits to take back to a very snowy, cold home.
Erin is from the United States and Oliver from South Africa. They live, met and fell in love in London and chose to celebrate their elegant wedding day at the very gorgeous Grand Dedale in Wellington. Most of their guests flew in from all corners of the world and the weather put on a grand old show and really made Erin and Oliver’s guests feel warm and welcome!
After a beautiful garden ceremony, all the guests went on to have a wine tasting whilst I took a couple of couple portraits. We then all joined the guests for a sumptuous lunch on the manor house verandah and ended the day off with live music and a pool side soireé.
Lisa & Dirk are two litigation lawyers in love. You should have heard the jokes when it came to signing the register!
I am in love with everything about this wedding… The navy blue and pink colour palate. Lisa’s elegant and understated lace and silk Robyn Roberts gown. Bunny boutonnieres. A crush-worthy cake. Romantic and meaningful boathouse nuptials. A sweet, sweet maid of honor crying her way through before mentioned boathouse nuptials. Fresh, gorgeous farm style treats. Best grooms speech. Ever. A teary eyed best man. And the most fantastic party on the dance floor to end off the perfect day that was Lisa and Dirk’s wedding day.
Dorothy and Andrew are from Toronto, Canada and decided to book a couple shoot whilst on Honeymoon in Cape Town. A totally sweet idea I’d say!

I love, love, LOVED seeing how much Luandré & Arno enjoyed their wedding day spent sipping on cocktails and catching up with all their friends and family who came down to celebrate with them from Johannesburg. Luandré was the most laid back bride who really enjoyed every moment. It was also very special to see Luandré’s mom help her into her dress as her mom made her wedding dress with her own two hands!
So so so so so so so so SO much laughter, joy, love and dancing was had at this special wedding!
Victoria and Eugene along with family and friends made the trip from England to South Africa for their sunny destination wedding at Waterkloof Wine Estate in Somerset West. Magnificent views, rolling valleys, live music, plenty of booty shakin’ on the dance floor and an exquisite ten course meal were some of the things that made Victoria and Eugene’s big day that much more unforgettable.
Joanne from By Invite Only did an amazing job at coordinating this wedding and Elmarie from El le Fleur made the most wild and wonderful flower arrangement using all our beautiful indigenous South African flora!
So much Laughter. So many happy hugs. This is what I remember most about Marené + Jaco’s wedding day at Rockhaven last month.
You might remember these two from their enagegement session (which you can see here). It was lots and lots of fun having Marené + Jaco in front of my camera again and it was such a treat to photograph their big day at one of my favourite wedding venues in the Western Cape, Rockhaven. There is something very special about the Elgin Valley and I love love LOVE landing up there!
Valery and Art have a cool, calm kinda love. Pretty perfect for some cozy seaside engagement photo’s in Kalk Bay.
I had such a relaxed time photographing these two lovebirds hanging out on the harbour pier! Wouldn’t you agree that these two are such a gorgeous couple, it’s ridiculous!?

Philippa and Mike have a fairytale kind of love story. They are the most wonderfully down-to-earth, warm people and I count myself very lucky to have been with them on their fabulous wedding day photographing all the love and laughter that surrounded them.
I LOVE photographing babies, especially when they reach the 7 month mark and they are sitting, gurgling, laughing and just generally quite edible!
Aimee, Paul and baby Cameron were out on holiday in Cape Town from London and wanted to have some family photos done. South African summers sure beat London winters when it comes to photo’s!
Christelli and Heinrich live in London but are originally from South Africa. They chose to come back home to South Africa to say their I do’s amongst the beautiful mountains and vineyards that surround Molenvliet Wine Estate.
